The Clipsal L5508DSI is an 8-channel C-Bus DIN Rail DSI Gateway, designed to provide seamless digital control over DSI (Digital Signal Interface) compatible electronic ballasts and transformers. This module acts as a high-performance bridge between a C-Bus automation network and digital lighting hardware, allowing for precise dimming, scene setting, and energy management. As a Used Working unit, it offers a reliable way to maintain or expand high-end residential and commercial lighting control systems using the globally recognized C-Bus protocol.

• Functional Status: Used Working. This gateway has been professionally removed from a functional C-Bus installation. Each of the 8 DSI channels has been tested for correct signal output and response to C-Bus commands.
• Physical State: Clean industrial condition. The DIN rail mounting clips are secure, and the screw terminals are free of damage or over-tightening. The manual override switches operate with a firm, positive click.
• Technical Integrity: The internal C-Bus interface and DSI signal generators are fully operational. The unit has been cleared of previous programming and is ready for discovery and configuration in a new C-Bus project.
• Note: Professional installation by a C-Bus certified integrator is recommended. Please ensure that your lighting ballasts are specifically DSI-compatible (and not DALI) before installation.
